The Next Step is a Canadian teen drama television series created by Frank van Keeken, and produced by Temple Street Productions. The Family Channel premiered the series in March 2013 and premiered on CBBC in April 2014. On September 12th, 2016, a BBC iPlayer short shows Shaun, Bitzer and the Farmer auditioning for the A-Troupe group.
