Two's Company is the fifty-ninth episode in Series 2 of Shaun the Sheep. It was aired in December 17 2009.

Synopsis[]

Shaun is smitten when a bedraggled new sheep called Lola lands, quite literally, among the flock. After a wash in the sheep dip, the newcomer turns out to be quite attractive and Shaun immediately falls head over hoof for her. While Bitzer goes to find her rightful owner, the flock are kept amused by Shaun's romantic antics.

Plot[]

The episode starts with the flock crossing the road. A truck carrying sheep nearly hits Timmy, but Bitzer stops it in time with his whistle. The truck comes to a halt and a sheep falls out into the nearby bushes. Bitzer moves Timmy out the way allowing the truck to pass. Shaun points towards the bushes and a dirty sheep emerges. Bitzer chases after the truck to notify them of the sheep that fell out. Shaun invites the dirty sheep into the farm and fills the pool with water and detergent to clean it. When the sheep steps out of the pool, she reveals herself to be a pretty sheep named Lola. Shaun instantly crushes on Lola and performs a magic trick to impress her. The two hold hands but the flock laugh. Meanwhile, Bitzer chases the truck and buys a skateboard off a kid to continue the chase. At the farm Shaun pushes Lola on a tree swing while the flock laughs from a branch. However, the branch couldn't support the weight and it falls down almost hitting Lola had Shaun not saved her. The pigs that were watching taunt the couple, forcing Shaun to take Lola elsewhere. The scene cuts to Bitzer still chasing the truck latching onto a delivery scooter. The driver swerves sending Bitzer into an elderly lady's shopping cart, breaking the skateboard. Bitzer sees the shopping cart and gets an idea. Shaun and Lola disguises themselves as bushes and boards a bus. Unfortunately, the flock was already on the bus disguised as passengers. Shaun pushes the request stop button and the two get off and run away. The flock follows. Shaun sets up a mini cinema inside the barn and the couple watch a movie. The flock sneaks in through the back and disrupts the movie by bringing down the projector screen. Shaun kicks out all the sheep and closes the door. Back to Bitzer, he chases after the truck riding the shopping cart. The truck driver sees Bitzer in his mirror and brakes. Bitzer being unable to stop crashes offscreen. Inside the barn Shaun and Lola construct robot versions of themselves and send them out to distract the flock. Finally alone, the couple share a kiss but is stopped midway when Lola's owner comes back and takes her away. Shaun, heartbroken, bids Lola farewell. He sits on the ground and sulks while Bitzer and the flock watch. Suddenly, Lola returns and the two hug. It was revealed that the flock substituted Lola with the robot version of herself on the truck. The truck drives away carrying the fake Lola ending the episode.
